Alternative AIDS Information
HEAL, Health Education AIDS Liaison, is a non profit education network committed to increasing public awareness of important information not made available by AIDS service agencies and unacknowledged by most media. HEAL's mandate is to inform people of the evidence that challenges the HIV=AIDS Hypothesis. HEAL questions whether "anti-viral" drugs, claimed to eradicate HIV, are appropriate treatments for AIDS or healthy HIV positive people. HEAL supports people who have been labeled "HIV positive" by assuring them that their diagnosis is not a death sentence. HEAL encourages people to EXPECT HEALTH and pursue holistic, non toxic approaches to the prevention and treatment of disease. The HEAL network extends through 17 US cities as well as Canada, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Australia. Originally founded in 1982 as an AIDS support group, in 1985, under the direction of president Rev. Dr. Michael Ellner and science advisor Dr. Frank Buianouckas, HEAL New York became the inspiration for an international movement challenging the validity of the HIV/AIDS hypothesis and the efficacy of HIV-based treatment protocols. HEAL helps to provide empowerment through information and support on how to recover one's health or stay healthy if at risk - mostly within the realm of non-toxic, alternative treatments. HEAL explores the importance of many factors such as lifestyle, malnutrition, vaccinations, recreational drugs, illegal street drugs, prescription drugs - including antibiotics and antivirals, sexually transmitted diseases, and psychological and emotional trauma. We do not accept donations from the pharmaceutical industry. We rely entirely on private donations.
All HEAL websites have information about local events, services and contacts. HEAL Toronto has by far the largest indexes and archives of information. HEAL New York are the people to contact if you are considering starting a new chapter.
