Roberto A. Giraldo --
Medical doctor and specialist in internal medicine from the University of Antioquia,
Columbia. Graduated with distinction from the University of London after obtaining a
Master of Science in clinical tropical medicine. For 30, years he has been dedicated to
clinical, academic and research activities in different aspects of infectious diseases in
various regions of Columbia, the United States and Europe. At the present time, he works
in the laboratory of clinical immunology in the New York Hospital Cornell Medical
Center. An independent AIDS researcher for 15 years, he is a member of "The Group for
the Reappraisal of the HIV/AIDS Hypothesis", member of the board of directors of
HEAL (Health Education AIDS Liaison) New York and a member of The Art and
Science Foundation of Medellin.
